Happy Holidays! Today we have a dynamic speaker and fascinating woman, Rev. Dr. Hillary Raining, she is an Episcopal priest, author, yoga teacher, bee keeper, professor, mother and spiritual director who has decades of experience helping people on their spiritual path. Cycle of Lives

We had a wonderful conversation with David Richman, he is the author of Amazon’s Best Seller, Cycle of Lives. In this amazing book, David explores 15 people’s emotional journeys with cancer (caregivers, patients, loved ones, doctors, etc.) and the various traumas in their lives that affected their experience. These stories are interwoven amongst the narrative of David’s solo 5,000-mile bike ride to go meet the book participants whom he had been interviewing for a few years. 100% of the net proceeds of the book are being donated to various cancer-related charities picked by the book participants (or their survivors) and other cancer-focused charities.

Healing the Masculine Wound

We welcomed Robert Joseph on Sense of Soul Podcast, Robert is an author, speaker and men’s coach, and creator of the NATURE + SPIRITUALITY + MASCULINITY aka NSM method for men, a very simple and clear formula to guide the process.  
After working in business and sales for over 15 years, Robert witnessed many men drifting away from their core and abandoning their strength. He developed the NSM method to help men find their purpose by connecting with spirituality and nature.

After joining the Royal Air Force, Lisa specialised as a Medic where she would train to not only look after the physical health of her fellow Airman and Airwomen, but also their mental wellbeing. Having seen active service in Afghanistan while deployed as part of the UK's Aeromed medical evacuation team, Lisa was witness to the devastating physical and psychological injuries that were being sustained by young service men and women. Lisa left the Military after five years' service to raise her family, and use her past experiences, and a sense of holistic care to begin a new career as a Clinical Aroma-Reflexologist. It is through her work with her clients over the past 8 years, as well as her own personal journey through mindful and spiritual health, that the inspiration came to write and share Natural Magic for the Modern Goddess.

PAIN: A Love Story

Today on Sense of Soul Podcast we have Dr. Serena Sterling, MA, PsyD, author of “PAIN: A Love Story.” Dr. Serena Sterling holds a master’s in International Journalism, a doctorate in clinical psychology, and is a certified Life Coach. As a journalist in Portland, Oregon, San Francisco, London and New York City, Dr. Serena Sterling wrote about health-related articles. Due to her own experience of overcoming chronic fatigue syndrome and finding ways to alleviate her own chronic pain from years of living with juvenile rheumatoid arthritis, Dr. Serena Sterling pursued a degree in clinical psychology and learned advanced stress reduction techniques to assist others in overcoming their own health challenges.
She started her coaching practice in 2008 and has had offices in Philadelphia, San Francisco, Portland, Oregon, and Seattle. She works with people from all over the world via remote sessions and consults and cross-refers with physical therapists, chiropractors, acupuncturists, massage therapists and medical doctors when appropriate.

Spiritually Awakening to a Higher Purpose

Sense of Soul welcomed Bridget Finklaire. She is an author and spiritual teacher with almost 30 years of experience.
